Yoga Nidra Meditation Facilitator
Yoga Nidra is a form of sleep meditation that addresses both physical exhaustion and emotional healing simultaneously. It puts us back in touch with our inner landscape and helps give us clarity and ignite our creativity and inner spark.
Yoga Nidra was a perfect tool to discover as a tired postnatal mother because it addressed physical exhaustion, emotional release, trauma resolution and making regular contact with the soul voice. It is a great healthy practise to bring in more calm and connection, and bring out one's Roar Mojo!
Jolie was trained in iRest Yoga Nidra by Richard Miller, and is along time supporter of Karen Brody's work and is trained to deliver the Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra Meditation program.

Jolie is inspired by the work of relationship therapist Esther Perel and tantric poet oracle Maya Luna. She is fascinated by the mind body connection to pleasure, intimacy and bonding, and the quest of how we maintain vibrant, healthy and joyful sexuality throughout our lives.
Kind words from others
"I always look forward to my sessions with Jolie, I feel a palpable shift in my energy, in my body by the end of a session, like a wave of calm. I feel able to express myself fully, knowing that Jolie will be there connecting the dots and spotting subtleties in my body language which help me further my self awareness. I feel validated, heard and held in a safe, sacred feminine space. I never thought that therapy over Zoom could be so nourishing and effective, I’m impressed."

“The first day we met you we knew we’d made the right choice - you were so kind and understanding and gave us lots of time to get to know you, and you us. You asked such helpful questions and came back each time with new things we may, or may not, have thought about, so you could understand us, and our preferences, as best you could. We looked forward to your visits and we knew Scott and I would be well looked after during labour. I felt so relaxed and happy having you as part of our team during the day, your suggestions and gentle support was just what was needed. When I was in the pool, having your calm, soothing voice made the experience so much more comfortable. I certainly missed you for the few minutes you took a well deserved break to eat (far too long overdue!). You carried us through beautifully (literally at points!) and thanks to your scarf (good thinking) M was born safely at home, just as we had dreamt. You even came to the hospital and stayed well into the early hours, you must have been exhausted - we were so grateful for that extra time. |
"Jolie is an exceptionally well qualified therapist with a range of techniques that are truly fantastic.
Most importantly she engages you in a non judgemental, positive and kind manner that encourages and open dialogue and critically, the resources to truly engineer change.
I cannot recommend her highly enough, if you ever have found yourself thinking 'I couldn't talk to a complete stranger about the crazy stuff in my head!' five minutes in her company will change your mind, I guarantee it. "

“You have supported us in SO many ways, both obvious and intangible and I couldn’t have done it physically, mentally or emotionally without you! You are SO mild and strong all at the same time! “

“Jolie is an amazing lady. I was very anxious about the whole giving birth thing. Jolie was an amazing support. She made …sure I was well informed throughout and did relaxation techniques with me to connect with my bubba. She was with me throughout the birth of my baby which didn't go as planned. She considered my needs which with a hospital birth can be pushed aside and she helped us make decisions by informing us of all the options. She supported me with breastfeeding and also when I made the decision to swap to bottle feeding without judgement. She supported me in the weeks after and helped with all those panic moments you have as new parents and she also helped me process the trauma I had of having my baby. Jolie is a very calming influence and made me feel safe. She really does go the extra mile for the parents she works with. We still meet up now for a coffee and a catch up. She will always have a special place in our families hearts.”

- “Dear Jolie, Exactly a week ago I met you at SDH,a time i needed someone to help me go through child birth. You stood by my side giving me all the necessary support i needed, even though my mum is far away in Ghana but I felt her presence in you. Words alone cannot express how grateful I am for everything you did for me on that Friday. You are my guardian angel. My husband had only returned from an exercise in Wales looking very tired, providing support for me greatly made a difference. God bless you.
My baby and I are doing well, as well as the family, my husband sends his regards. God Bless you”

“I’m writing to thank you for all the pre natal training and support you gave Nicky and I during her pregnancy. As a tradesman I would make the analogy that your training and guidance was like being presented with a bag full of tools capable of handling any task or difficulty. Most tools were not required but knowing they were there if needed instilled a confidence and calmness in me that allowed me to enjoy and engage in the most amazing experience of my life. Thank you.”
